FAQ

How many photos do we get?
I take a lot of photos, pick the best ones, and then edit them to the best of my ability. Usually, for family or portrait sessions I average about 60 images/hr. For weddings, I usually provide around 80-100 images/hr. I do not have a limit to how many you get, as my general saying is, if I like it, you get it. I don't hold back anything that I think is a good photograph.
How do I book a photography session with you?
Booking a photography session is easy. Simply reach out to me through my contact page on my website and let me know the type of session you're interested in. From there we'll go over the details! Whether it's a wedding or a family session, I do ask for a non-refundable retainer to hold the date and time slot with the rest being due by the day of the session. I also deliver a contract that I will need to be signed along with the delivery of the non-refundable 30% retainer.
Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?
Absolutely! The location plays a significant role in capturing unique and personalized photographs and is totally up to you! I will definitely give you my suggestions for locations if you need some pointers. Whether it's at your home, a scenic outdoor location, or a venue of your choice, I'm open to capturing your portraits in a place that holds meaning to you.
What happens after the session?
I understand the anticipation of seeing your final photos! My editing process typically takes 1-2 weeks for family sessions, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required. Weddings are anywhere from 1-3 months depending on the time of year. I prioritize quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations. Once I have finished editing the best photos, I upload them to the very same website you are on now into your own private gallery. After that, you are free to download as many as you want, but I always recommend downloading the whole gallery.
Are there any other fees?
I do not charge you for anything else besides the session price, however, you can purchase prints directly from my website, which will be the best quality prints you can get.
What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?
If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we can discuss rescheduling the session and find a date that works for both of us. I want to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos, and I'm flexible in adapting to unforeseen circumstances.
Can we post our photos on social media?
Of course!!! 90% of my clients find me from word of mouth aka social media posts from previous clients! I would love for you to share your photos along with a shoutout :)
Do you travel for sessions?
Yes!!! I love going to new places and seeing different things, however, these days gas in California is not cheap, so I do ask for a small travel fee of $1 per mile outside of the San Luis Obispo Area.

WHY ME?

Good question. Well, I love what I do. I know, I know, that's what every photographer says. But seriously. It took my whole life to figure out what I wanted to do and once I found it, I took it and ran with it. I'm not just running on autopilot becasue every session is unique, every person is unique, and every moment is different from the last. That's what makes it special every time. But what separates me from the rest, is that I started with a landscape photography background, so I always like to make sure everything in the picture, is just as beautiful as the people in it. I'm committed to celebrating the love between all couples and people of any ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, age, and body type whether it's a family session or a beautiful wedding
